For people who tinted their headlights

I don't know if this was mentioned before within the forums but does tinting headlights for the Maxima reduce output for the HIDS? I'm thinking of tinting them but I need input before I do. I don't want to regret anything Does the tint scatter the light and ever bothered with the "Law Man" (according to the moonshiners )

I personally have mine done and mine were "smoked" with paint. I don't regret the look, however I don't even have HID's. So, my output is somewhat limited. Not bad, but HID's will definitely help. One of my next mods..... after tuning of course
