Clear side markers??
Anyone know where i can get a pair for an 01' i30?? I cant seem to find them in any tuner shops, the owners keep telling me they dont make anything for my car
I may be forced to keep it sleeper and just work on the engine...

Nope they don't make any, as far as I have seen they don't. You can always clear them out yourself, but that is kind of tricky.

You can make your own homemade side markers. This writeup is for maxima's but can apply to almost any vehicle, and "MIGHT" apply for the I30. I'm pretty sure the lense inside the orange case is clear. Only one way to find out right?
1) Remove your sidemarkers
2) Use a screwdriver or any sharp tool and break the OUTSIDE around plastic case. BECAREFULL NOT TO BREAK THE CLEAR LENSE INSIDE!
3) Remove all of the orange plastic until the clear lense is exposed
4) Remove the clear lense
-This only applies if the back housing is orange; if your back housing is white, silver, or grey proceed to step 11
5) Sand the back housing until you remove all of the impurities
6) Clean it thoroughly so you don't get any specks when you start to paint
7) Use white or silver spray paint and paint the entire back housing
8) Let dry
9) Apply a second coat
10) Let dry
11) Sand the back housing until you remove all of the impurities
12) Clean to make sure there aren't any specks of plastic left
13) Apply silicone sealant on the edges of the back housing (where it will meet the clear plastic lense)
14) Place back the clear lense and let it dry per according to directions on the silicone tube.
15) ENJOY your homemade clear side marker
