I've seen another one that's a one-piece model. One better than the other?

I believe we had a user here that was making nice covers. The one you showed looks too heavy duty like its back of a truck

If you want to add 50ish pounds of weight to the car, then go for it. I personally think that a metal diamond plate trunk liner is just flat out tacky to put into the trunk of Infiniti.

Well, when you put it that way.. lol

Maybe I'll just cover some mdf with some nice carpet. I guess I could even get a logo embroidered in the carpet, or something. All I know is the factory one is flimsy, sagging, and has got to go

How much does it weigh? And was $70 an accurate price?

Or a "regular vs. premium, what should I use?" thread...

From the size of the trunk floor and having to move docking plates of similar size at my former job that were also diamond plate, I'm going to say easily 50 pounds, maybe even more. Then again, I don't recall if the OP mentioned if this diamond plate trunk liner is steel or aluminum. If it's aluminum, then it would probably way much less, perhaps in the 20-30 pound range, by my guesstimation.

the mdf/carpet route looks more practical.

The stainless steel looks clean, but I'm not gonna be ridin' around with my trunk open xD
