I was talking to the service at the dealer about the 48000km service as the service booklet mentions a transmission fluid. But he said the CVT doesn't need change until 160,000km. Is this true??
Is there a service guide here abt what needs done when?

I just follow my service manual that came with the car. It tells You Wat need to be change every miles.

 

My car was used and I got the vehicle manual but i didn't get a specific service manual..

 

Oh. I think you can request for one from the dealer if am not mistaking

 

My service manual says optional to change at 30,000 miles but mandatory at 60,000 miles.

Actually, the CVT fluid SHOULD be changed according to the CVT fluid deterioration value stored in the ECM. The tech can check it with the Consult-III. The FSM states if the number is <210,000, then it doesn't need to be changed. Obviously, >210,000 and it needs changed.
