I know O'reilly's reman the OEM coils and usually sands off the nissan logo.

very possible, but as far as I know this one was sold to me as a new item, not reman...
How the would they be able to re manufacture the coils???

To be honest I have no idea I purchased the coil from an online vendor... I believe that this is an OEM Supplier for Nissan part b/c the coil does/did have the Nissan logo on it but it was sanded down. At least you know that it is made in Japan and not some cheap china shipping

Based on this the coil is made by Hitachi and it does have a cross reference for Nissan oem part number...
