Switch-Back LED's not working(VLEDS)

Hey Guys,

I ordered a pair of switchback LEDS from VLEDS and tried to install them yesterday. When I put them in they turned on but when I applied the turn signal or hazard lights, they would only dim and brighten again and not "switch back" to amber. I thought maybe the resistor had to be also added so me and the installer added the resistor (6 ohm) and they didn't even stop the hyper flashing. Any Ideas as to why this may be happening? Also the rear turn signals weren't working when after i put the LEDS in, they wouldn't activate at all.

Thanks in Advance,

DJ Zreik

Sounds like you possibly have a bad connection on the resistor, which would stop the blinkers from blinking... You should contact VLED support, they responded to me rather quickly when I was having similar issues.. but in my case I didnt order the CK type so they were popping the fuse.

if the resistor didnt stop the hyper flashing, you spliced into the wrong wires (you need to splice the turn signal wire not the parking light wire). definitely make sure you ordered CK-style switchbacks, and if so contact V-LEDs about it
