I just got some KYB's installed with new srut mounts (from KYB) and they feel great. But I have a small problem. When at low speeds I turn the steering wheel (about 90 degrees) I hear noises coming from the struts (on the front). I took it back to the shop and they said it is normal for it to do that at first and let it break in but the sound is this tinging noise and kinda annoying. Anyone else have this problem?

Make sure the bolts on the strut towers are tight. When we installed new suspension on to my friend's 2.5RS. We forgot to tighten one side of the strut towers completely. And there was a banging all the time. It turned out to be that and the spring wasn't aligned on the strut correctly. So check those things.

I had the same noise on my car when I did the struts/springs. Turned out to be that the upper strut mount wasn't lined up perfectly.

 

Springs are not seated properly on the strut. Have the shop reinstall the spring... make sure it seats properly.
