@#!% Scraped the side of my max - help!

I've got this tight sloped/curved entrance to my driveway that has a stone wall next to it. So I have to make a pretty tight right turn to make it into my garage...i've done it thousands of times w/o any problems and then on new years eve I scraped the max right under the passenger side rear door (kind of the corner of the bottom line and start of the fender line), the top of the fender and rear of fender.

Man I am so ****ed at myself. It'll take me a while to get over this. It's a 95 Max GLE that to me is new--only about 2.5 months old. The damage dent wise is moderate but damn the scratches/gouge is ugly. I was thinking maybe I should get my insurance to cover it..but I have a $500 deductible and can't afford it at this point..so may hold off and just treat the scratches..

So I could use some help, what's the best product to use for me to "paint" the scratched areas? My car is dark gray..almost black. Let me know if pics would help and I'll see what I can do.

Need really close detailed pics, so we can determine if the scratches are through to primer, or worse, metal. Paint damage is usually pretty easy to rub out as long as it's not too deep.

wetsand with 1000-1500 grit paper, buff with rubbing compound, then swirl-mark remover, then glaze

That'll only work if he's not down to the primer or metal.
