I got mine off of eBay. Type in Maxima Reverse Indiglo Gauges in the search box in eBay. They are there, trust me.

I installed them to go along with my blue intelliglo needles from Import Intelligence. I also installed the gauge rings and the aluminum bezel at the same time. It looks so very sweet. The LEDs in the needles reflect off of the gauge rings and the whole inner part of the gauge ring is an awesome blue. Everything matches it is so nice. It looks so close to Euro. I will get some pics tomorrow night since it is snowing here at this time.

I'm almost 100% sure they do have both indiglo and reverse indiglo for 98 SE.

There are indiglos for a 98.

And directions on how to take gauge cluster out are in the How2 section of Maximadriver.com or here: http://www.geocities.com/amixam69/nissan/dash/

As far as I know, for you 97+ Max owners with the orange needles, go to a nissan dealer and see if you can order two large and two small clear needles from that of a 95-96 year Maxima. They should be plug and chug. Try it. I will get pics as soon as I can. IMO, they look great.

97 with orange needles

i wonder if nissan will sell the white needles by themself?or if they will sell them along with the whole cluster together.some how i have a feeling the wouldnt sell the needles seperatly. So i guess the only way any one will work for you is if you have the white needles.
why cant they just bew an exact replacement? thing have to be difficult i guess.

guiddo_sst has the needles and said that you will just need to sand off the orange paint on the underside of the needles, that is the only place that there is any orange, the rest of the needle is clear.
