My 95 Maxima

I picked this up a few weeks ago for $1400. Was tired of all the noise from the Honda and just wanted something nice to drive around. Finally got it running the way I wanted.

Mods/upgrades:
VQ30DE - 170xxx
6 Ignition Coil packs
New upstream o2 sensor
New Wix fuel filter
Poor Boys intake - Stock intake is just full of resonators.
5w-30 Castrol Synth w/ Wix filter.

In the works/needs to be fixed:
Iavc went bad, continued to throw a code after cleaning it. Have a replacement coming.
Back bumper cover - PO backed into someone. Lucky its just the cover.
Antenna - was torn off by someone while the car was for sale =(
New tires - tires on it are from 2006
Interior - Intend to have Brian do the carbon fiber material on the trim.
VQ30DE-K intake manifold swap
Exhaust - Its pretty rusted and falling apart at some points. Needs complete replacement.
Stock rims - Intend to replace them with 96 Maxima 5 spoke wheels.
Spoiler - Intend to get one from the 96 Maxima if I can find the right color.

I've always liked the stock 95-96 grille.

Planning on keeping it quasi-stock?

I'm not sure, but I think you need to get it warmed up (drive for like 15 minutes) then adjust the idle down to 750 or something...? Don't quote me on that though

That's actually not a bad idea...*thinking of mine* What about plasti-dip? Would that work better?

Yeah, I did spray-black to my side mirror on my GrandAm...worked for about a year then started to fade something fierce...

*UPDATE*
So I installed the Iavc today, courtesy of WesCTR. Slapped it on with no problems. CEL went away and it runs even better! Thanks a lot Wes!
