Hi,

I put an ebay 30 dollars short ram in my 99 auto, I got excited and loved the sound so every time I drove, I run my car (meaning I went from 0 to 60 as fast as I could). One day, I was turning and try to run my car as I was finishing the curve. Then I felt like the car held back a little and then I had no sound from my intake anymore and my pedal felt really soft. Ever since, I feel like my gears are shifting too fast, I nearly do not press my pedal at all. I press the gas about half inch and that's it, it will feel normal until 2nd gear and then it will stay on 3rd for a little bit and go straight to 4th. By which time I'm hitting 40-45 mph only. Thank you.

 

Have you popped the hood to inspect the intake?

Thanks for posting. Yes I checked everythin was fine. I took out the engine and then left the cone filter connected to the MAF sensor (half short ram). Thank you.

 

Your car sounds fine to me. Any CEL codes?

 

No, no codes. But do you agree that it could have changed the way it feels right?? Also if. I Let go off the gas, the car seems to stay on 2nd gear and stays at 15 mph....
