Smoked out tail lights? Vinyle or spray?

Which do you have?

What's the pros and cons of each?

Spray looks better and lasts longer, but vinyl can easily be taken off if you change your mind or get a repair order from a cop cause it's too dark

This. Got a ticket on another car before. Couldn't find anyone willing to swap out lights so I had to have a body shop sand the paint off

Go what Ghozt said. I had vinyl before but started to peel. I blame the installer Spray is better and you don't have to worry about it again.

i painted mine myself using VHT night-shades, and some duplicolor clear-coat.

here's what 1 coat of VHT night-shades looks like with some clear coat on top and polished back to a shine.

here they are lit up during the day

the 2012 OEM tails are a MORE ORIGINAL option than tinting? how is anything OEM more original than a mod (even if its just tinting)? you dont come close to making sense bro. its cool if you dont like em, i dont think anyone here is gonna take theirs off or lose any sleep over it.

Don't buy the tint film because it peels after a few months with different climate and then it eventually starts to crack, and if you power wash your car and you're not careful it will come off.The paint is cheaper and it will have a nice gloss finish, just don't over spray it so that it's darker.I didn't want to spray it because it will affect the re-sale value but I seen them used for as low as $100 OBO.As soon as it warms up i'll be spraying my tail lights

Getting my windows tinted right now (35% on the windows, 15% on the back windshield).. Then they're going to spray my tail lights. I told them I didnt want them pitch black, but a dark red or so.

I'll post pics when it's all done.

Thanks for all the input.
