Tail light question

Anyone remove the 3 bulbs out of the bottom of the tail lights and rock just the led strips and the blinkers? Thinking it might be a cool look at night... Any pics? Any problems with cops/tickets?

i swapped mine out to red LEDs a while ago it fills it out nicely.
