4th gen stock wheels with wilwood superlights

Hi All

I was hoping someone could help me here.
I've asked Brian at Fastbrakes to make (remake) the 12.2 inch BBK that he used to offer for the 4th gen. The kit includes the superlight calipers.

I was reading some older threads and read that the stock 5-spoke 16" SE wheels might clear with wheel spacers. But there were no details on the spacer thickness.

Does anyone know what size spacer would be needed and if in deed the OEM 16" SE wheels would fit this brake kit?

Thanks

You're going to need quite a bit of spacer to make them fit. i.e. 1" at least. the Superlites are pretty wide calipers, and the spoke clearance on teh stock 4 gen wheels isn't much.

Thanks for the info. Yikes, thats a much bigger spacer than I was hoping for.

I noticed I misspelled superlites.

the billet superlites is what was on my car,and i had a hard time even finding some 18 inch wheels that would clear....basically....the calipers themselves are almost 2 times the size of stock....but well worth the swap if you decide to

Thanks for the info.
I already put a down payment down for the brakes from fastbrakes, so just a matter of time....

Just looking for winter wheels...

For summer, I ended up going big and went with a used set of Volk CE28Ns at 17"x7.5, but the offset is low at +50. So once I get the kit together I'll figure out what spacers I'll need. I'm hoping 10mm spacers would make it work.
