HID light sometimes not working

My HID in headlight (ONE SIDE) sometimes does not turn on. I thought it was ballast, so I replaced the ballast with another OEM ballast, but still have same problem.

Can bulb does that? or its something with wiring?

Thanks

Try swapping the bulbs from one side to the other and see

It's probably the bulb. When in doubt, replace those first especially if you have OEM ballasts. Those rarely go bad.

To be sure, swap the bulb from one side to the other. If the problem moves over to the other side, it's the bulb. If the problem stays on the same side, it's time to check the wiring or maybe the headlight fuse.

I think the problem is with your HID bulb. Please change your bulb and check with the connectors.

My kind advice is to try it with high quality HID bulbs. Make a try with sparkhid. They have high quality HID bulbs with reasonable rate. Make a try.

My 2003 Max HIDs were doing the same thing. I also thought it was the ballast on the passenger side. Turns out it was the bulb. As HID bulbs begin to fail, they can start to intermittently cycle on and off.
