Hey how'd you paint the grille. I have recently purchased a 6th gen and have looked everywhere for blacked out everything and have yet to find a grille. I'd hate to use a product and ruin my trim.

That looks real hot, I would do that, but I don't know how much I could sell my car for after all these mods. Atleast I know I can change out the intake, exhaust, tints, blue leds, etc etc.

My stock '12 grill is one thing I do not like. This blacked out example might be nice on a white car (would match the pano roof, I think).

But mine is a lease, so I'd need to buy a second grill and have it painted, so I can swap back in the original if the time comes (e.g. I turn it in instead of buying it out)

What do you all think?

Honestly check out k money's grille it's a billete grille and he blacked out all out it looks really nice or you can go to Nissan and get the 2011 sport grille which is mostly black and have a shop black out the chrome parts . 2011 sport grille from Nissan $230

If I were you, just paint the one you have now and keep it until your lease is up. I've seen certified Maxima's at my dealership with after-market grills and even blacked out stock grills. I don't see why your dealership would complain.

I was thinking that plast-dip stuff would be the best way, assuming it can be removed when the time comes. I don't trust these dealers to not pile on with some sort of penalty.

Is that a Datsun B210 beside the Max? I used to own one of those bad boys in the 80"s. I haven't seen one of those in about twenty years. Looks like it is in great shape.

Yup, that's right 1977 b210, it's in great shape, a little rust but it's ok, trying to build something different

Looks great. But I wouldn't define it as custom. It's a stock grill painted.
