Security indicator light stays on
Security indicator light stays on
I've got a 2014 Nissan Maxima SV. What should I do? Why is this light staying on even after I turn it off. I've noticed once the car hesitated to start when I pushed the power start button. Anyone know why and if the two are related issues?
I think I've asked this question before or there's another thread on here about this issue. Either way, I think that light stays on no matter what, but I could be wrong. Make sure you're pushing and holding the start button a good 2 seconds or so. There was a time when I pushing it like a video game start and that was causing some hesitation. Also, I would try to make sure the battery is in good condition. I changed the stock Nissan battery in my 2014 SV a few months back and went with a Bosch AGM Battery from Pep Boys. I just didn't trust the stock Nissan battery, and it didn't look too sturdy in my opinion. I hope this helps.

Thank you. When in doubt, read the directions. 8)
