CD changer starts from beginning

CD changer starts from beginning
When I fully load my 6 disc changer & I start playing (ex. disc 4 track 10). By the time I park the car to do whatever & cut the car back on the cd is back on disc 1 track 1 & it's even a few seconds into the song already. WTF is going on? Any help would be appreciated & thanks in advance.
