im not sure if anyone will try to steal clear lens in my area but jus to give myself a piece of mind i was thinking about sealing the gaps between the two pieces of the lens with some kind of a silicone or something i can remove later on- it might be a good deterent
not sure if ill do it but it might be good cuz one side has a bigger gap between the pieces than the other side

I did something similar to this to secure my clear corners because one of them got stolen a while back. What I did was use clear silicone glue and I applied some inside the pressure fitting that the little nubs on the back of the lens goes into. By doing this, it takes a TON of force to get the lens out. You have to sit there and take your time to get it out, but it comes out. I did this because I figured anyone who's going to try and steal clear corners isnt going to want and sit there for a few minutes to get the thing out. He's going to expect it to pop right out. So far I havent had any problems, and the clear corners have been in for over a year.

that sounds good but what do you think about using it to seal the crack? of course i dont want it to be a b!tch to take out when i need to but i dont want someone to try and force it out and break it too (by putting it in the nub)
