Sunroof deflector, anyone put one on?

One pet peeve I have with this car is the wind noise when the roof is open (pano roof), even when just tilted.

I see the dealer has a wind deflector for only $65 on sale. If anyone had added this, did it help the situation? Does it look ok? Hard to see from the tiny pictures on the Nissan website.

Lol I was looking earlier for one online but a
Low profile one. The Oem are too big and bulky looking.

I've had them on previous cars and the reduction in wind noise especially on the highway
Is huge

If I can find a low profile type. I would also get it painted to match the car. I think that would blend in better

Those add on wind deflectors really create a sucky looking car. Why not add the side window deflectors too?

I have one, not as bulky as I thought. Much better with the sunroof open and adds great styling.

So Ryan, you like it then?

Some opine yes and some no. Hard to form a consensus.

Ryan, do you happen to have any more pictures?

This was discussed on here before I believe and yes, they had the manual showing that the sunroof wind deflector does work on the panoramic roof.

There are no side window wind deflectors. Those are rain guards, and serve an entirely different purpose. Those folks living in the deep south know that purpose very well.

I actually ordered it and tryed to install it on my glass roof and found out the hard way that it doesn't fit, I was able to return it but was pissed that the website said nothing about not fitting on the glass roof!

Very true. I don't know where the rumor began that says we could install a wind deflector on a roof when the entire front half of the two-panel panoramic roof raises into the air.

I agree, they need to make something that is able to pop up like an inline wind deflector that raises automatically when we open the sunroof and doesn't effect the overall silhouette of the car.

It's gonna be hard to find something that does what we think it should do and not take away from the overall look/shape of the car, whatever it is it needs to be complimentary to the looks of the car but still maintain its' functionality.
