Noob Question -- MAF sensors on Ebay

My 2K maxima SE MT is having the problem where it is dying if I push in the clutch while driving. The place I have taken it to has replaced 3 IACVs and it is now happening again. I have just now started reading the forum because I figured something else must be going on. So, it seems that I likely need a new MAF and that I probably also need the recalibration of the IACV to take place. However, I'm so new to this and I'm looking for advice.

I looked on ebay and I see MAFs for ~50 and MAFs for ~150 and if the ~50 would work just fine, then I'd rather purchase that and take it to the the place that has replaced the IACVs. The place I normally have been taking the maxima to uses NAPA most of the time, and I checked with them and it looked like it would be 150 for a remanufactured one.

So, what I'm asking is for suggestions for MAF sensors on Ebayor if I should buy the remanufactured one from NAPA. I'll pay for the more expensive if I need to, but I'm just clueless on cars. Any advice? Thanks!

Are you throwing any codes? Stay off the ebay stuff. Oh BTW how did you start a new thread? They changed the rules or something?

I agree. Thats an item I would only get from dealer.

And yes, they changed the 15 post minimum rule a while ago.

Any suggestions for a good dealer? I had heard about Dave Burnett at Southpoint Nissan, but it appears he is no longer there.

I absolutely can not stand my local nissan dealer here in Oxford, MS. They once painted my front bumper of my 91 240 SX purple and said that my maroon had faded and that was the reason for the color difference. So, I am not going to go buy from them.

I take it for my 2000 model that I'd still like to get the 2001 MAF sensor and then get my ECU upgraded. Is that correct? What part number is that?

Thanks so much everyone for all the help!
