I was wondering if anyone knows how to wire led lights into the dome lights? I read about this months ago under the links site but cannot find it anymore. If anyone knows the site or knows how to do this please let me know.

 

Greg from Custommaxima did it...I asked though, not much help. You need 4 led's and run them to a 12v source...thats it really.

the dome gives out 12V... you need to basically use 4 leds to get similar illumination as before. More if you choose

12 Volts, use a resistor or 470 ohms to bring the voltage down to 3volts. then use 3Volt LEDS. I'm thinking about 2 whites and 2 blues.
rated at above 1200mCd's each. So they are bright enough. Get the brightest whites possible like 2000mCd's or more. It's something i'm working on right now. along with the whole dome fading out instead of turning off type thing.
