oil pan

Anyone ever accomplished this? Freaking muffler in the middle of the road this morning. Hoping oil pickup or crank/pistons didn't suffer.

Ok, I've calmed down and had a chance to search here a bit more. I have found some pics, and it looks like there is nothing inside the lower that could get damaged. Can anyone confirm this PLEASE? I need to be able to get around until I can get a new one.

According to the Hayne's manual a 4th gen lower pan should fit a 5th gen just fine, the drain bolt will just be in a different location.

Uh, the oil pump pickup screen is right there on the bottom of the oil pan.

If it is damaged (likely according to that picture) then your engine could starve for oil. I would plan on replacing that as well.

I would think the oil light would be on if it was busted. Correct?
Car is running fine, no lights on the dash. Found a brand new one in town for 55 with the AdvanceAuto discount found on here!

My Haynes isnt very detailed.
