I have Rockford Fosgate in my car right now and they are very good. Sound great and don't distort even for being on a sony headunit. I would recommend them.

If you are looking online for the speakers get them from http://www.sonicelectronix.com/

They have good stuff and relatively cheap.

How many spears are you trying to replace, what size, and do you like music that much?? $450 for speakers is a lot!! xD

I recently replaced my stock speakers. I spent $110 to replace 4 speakers on my 2003 maxima
I replaced with some $35 (per pair) speakers from amazon. (bought 2 pairs) to replace all speakers on all 4 doors.
http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-G16...4468921&sr=8-1

and I bought some 6.5 bracket rings from ebay. speakers onto the bracket, bracket onto the stock screw holes on the door. The brackets were about $20 per pair.

You get what you pay for with speakers. You don't wanna go cheap like ^ lol but you also dont need MB Quart components either. $450 should get you 2 sets of pretty decent component speakers, which is what you want for the best sound quality out of speakers. Component speakers separate the mid-bass from the highs unlike coaxial speakers that have the tweeter mounted directly on top of the mid-bass speaker. You should never see a crossover BTW. For door panel speakers like yours, they are hidden with the door panel. Sonicelectroix.com is a good site. They have good weekly deals. I prefer Infinity for component speakers for what its worth, either Infinity or Polk Audio.

I have RF T1's in my '01 - components up front, and 3-ways on back doors. Although I love the robustness of the mids, I find its ends up with some separation between mids and highs. The 3-ways in the back fill in the sound gap very nicely.

I have Polk Audio MM 6.5 Components up front and 5.25 coaxials in the back. They are amazing! Very, very good sound. I recommend an amp on them though.

thanks for all the help! i think i might go for the infiniti setup , they are decently priced and have great reviews for the front and back speakers aswell as the amp it should cost 439 and if i want to get two 12 inch subs and a amp it would be 689 and probably like 750 if i got good cables.i gotta start saving!

I can also vouch for Polk products. I bought two pairs of 6.5" Polks and a Sony HU for ~$400. Great sound at a decent price.
