Pre Cut tint ? anyone tried it ?

Guys,

I found this precut tint, on ebay. I want to know if anyone has tried this. I have a deal locally to get it done for $100, but this costs fraction of the cost.

I just want to know if anyone has used it, and what outcome they have had.

If you can get all your windows done for $100 professionally, do it. Even with precut, you will never get it perfect...especially the rear window. I did mine myself with non precut and although the came out ok, they are nowhere near as good as a professional could do.

$100 is NOTHING for a pro to tint all the windows. Don't waste your time being cheap and trying to DIY it,

I agree with these guys, avg professional window tint jobs are 200+ nowadays, and that precut stuff isn't always the best because the dimensions are usually inaccurate leaving more space around the edges than you may want. Go with a professional tint job, I prefer those who cut it by hand to fit your window.

If you do decide to attempt tinting yourself, at least go with the other ebay seller that sells quality name-brand precut tint (3M, Lumar, etc...). And good luck!

I had my windows tinted at a shop with a lifetime warranty (as long as I own the car) for $140 including a top windshield strip. If I ever have any problems with it I can just take my car back and have it taken care of for free. The film I believe was Llumar and blocks UV rays. I could have paid more and got the premium carbon tint, but they only had it in 35% and I wanted 30% for the fronts since that's the legal limit here in Florida for the fronts, and 15% for the rear and back.

Don't do it! Ive tried with ebay tint and its just a hassle and can not ever get it looking right no matter how many times you try to fix it. Pass and get it done professionally.

Tint is one of those things where you leave it to the pro's.

I would rather pay someone than go thru the hassle of doing it

I had mine done along with my sunroof 20% carbon 3m and it was $175 life time warranty. The same shop has done my last 6 cars and I've never had an issue at all. Comes out perfect

I used to have a ting guy like that. He did excellent work. Unfortunately he couldn't stop drinking and driving and he's been in jail for a while now, and ended up losing his business. It's a shame cause he'd been doing window tint for a long time and had contracts with local dealerships in the area and was always busy and had lots of work coming in and was making killer money.

I bought the kit on eBay and they are crap. They cut them larger than te windows so you'll end up cutting them to fit. Which defeat the whole purpose of buying a precut kit
