Desperate! Need help finding clutch line part

Ok, so im overly stressed out. I cant find this piece I need to get my car on the road again. Basically (as most know probably), the clutch line comes in two pieces. One piece is from the clutch master cylinder to the junction box, and the other piece is from the junction box to the slave cylinder. While Nissan is quite dumb for this, I need that second part that goes to the slave cylinder. I heard that the junction box can be bypassed, but my car is at a mechanic's shop, and I'm not sure they are willing to do something that unorthodox. Any help in locating that piece would be greatly appreciated.

1997 Nissan Maxima SE

Follow this link for one piece SS clutch line that eliminates all of the intermediate stuff and connects master direct to slave. They also offer a SS piece that only replaces the flexible end at the slave, but I see no point in that. I have not installed this yet, but have heard/read very good things about these.

Wow, thanks, y'all. That was fast! It looks like the part is 30651+a. Just ordered it. The thing that sucks is that I could have just bought the one piece ss line and did the whole thing myself, but the bolts on my car seemed to have never been removed in its 15+ years; I can't budge any of them. My mechanic made me buy a clutch master and slave cylinder, and then had the cashews to tell me it was that line the whole time! So I'm not only furious, I'm also poor .

I've had an ss line since 04, it's not unorthodox. Just like ss brake lines, it's an upgrade. I'm so sick of hearing about incompetent mechanics and the customers doing all the troubleshooting. Youre paying them for a reason.

Dude. Tell me about it. They didn't even know how to find the part... I had to. But the mechanics here are so backwoods that they really won't do anything outside the books. If I was able to break the bolts on my car with my feeble girl arms, I would never see a mechanic.

not to brag about it by I fixed mine for less than $10 with parts from the local Autozone... You just need to find the correct fittings and about 5ft of brake line... thats it a hydrological system is a hydrological system every single one of them operates the same way... About 10,000 miles so far on my $10 fix and no problems what so ever...

Wow. I'm sitting here at the shop, and they STILL can't bleed the clutch. Something about the spring behind the clutch pedal, and a spring on the master clutch cylinder. $170 in parts alone, and they still can't fix my car!

Sounds like you need another mechanic. Hydraulic clutch is pretty basic stuff. If they already replace the master cylinder, that spring is internal to the new unit. There is also an "assist" spring on the clutch pedal assembly itsef. However, if the clutch pedal returns after being depressed, these should not be a problem - and shouldn't stop them from bleeding the system. Bleeding this system is a PITA, but if they have replace both master and slave AND the lines it should work. Good luck.

Are they aware there are TWO bleeders? Blled the top first, then the lower. Did they bench bleed the master prior to install? If it was my car, Id speed shift it home and fix it myself. Not sure of your skills/tools but they are obviously not worthy of touching my car.
