CA FS: 95 JWT ECU
FS: 95 JWT ECU - with extended redline
Hey guys,
I have a JWT ECU for sale. Sticker on it says "POP Upgrade Package" for a 95 fed-spec AT. This ECU does not have the extended redline. I had it in my 96 GLE for several years and it served me well, but I finally replaced the Max with a G35 last month, so now it's someone else's turn. Looking for $400; shipping included at that price. Images below.

EDIT: I contacted JWT to ask about the rev limit and they have confirmed that the ECU DOES have the extended redline. The contents of their email to me are below:
The JWT ECU has an engine redline moved to 7000 rpm. The automatic transmission controller still controls when the automatic transmission shifts, not the ECU. If you put the car into one of the lower gears (manually move the shift selector), you can then hold the accelerator pedal down and see that the engine rpm will continue way past 6200 rpm. We raise the rev limiter in almost all ECUs we upgrade unless someone specifies something different or a stock rev limiter.

POP is the "Performance Optimized Programming," basically JWT's catch-all marketing term for the adjustments they make to the ECU (timing, fuel map, etc.).
Here's the JWT page for the ECU, which goes into more detail: http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/cus...asp?PartID=154

I had it in a 96 automatic and it would shift at 6200 RPM. Never any higher than that, so I have to assume it doesn't have the extended redline.
Now, JWT's own page seems to indicate that it has the higher rev limit, so *maybe* it would if it were used in a manual. But I'd rather be safe and say it doesn't have it than even unintentionally lead someone to believe it does and end up disappointed. Maybe someone with more knowledge could chime in.

Manually shifting it should show the extended revs
Drop me a PM if you're interested and we'll work something out.
