New to the ORG... not your average newbie

Whats good fellas... I been workin at a Nissan Dealer in South Jersey for the past 8 months and since i started I had my eye on a max... People at the dealership tried talkin me in to waitin for the new 13' Alt but lets be real what dude really wants to be drivin around in a ALT! the new body style looks good but so did the current style when it 1st came out. So I made the best decision possible and went with the 2012 SV. Kinda of wish i went with the sport but the deal on the base SV was too good to pass up.

Now with that lil bio outta the way let me get down to business...

I was checkin **** out before joinin and was amazed with some of the work you guys been puttin in and hope you guys might have some insight for me.

1) I have that nasty amber radio screen that I need to get rid of. I seen the post with the X-Zoom which was hott... What has been the best solution to gettin rid or bypassing that screen?

2) Head light options. I seen k-money does some dope ****. thinkin bout gettin in touch with him but anyone else have any other options?

3) Id love to replace all interior lighting with something diff... like i said i cant stand that amber lighting. (I mean everything not just door and dome lights dash and everything that orange )

Im sure I am gonna have a lot of questions comin up but if there is anything u guys need from me ask away i have 12 nissan cert techs brains to pick and can keep everyone up to date on new programs and things on the nissan side

yea another member found a great way to retrofit an aftermarket radio and screen to replace the amber one. besides that your best bet is looking at a tablet dock/mount like I have.

headlights - you can send to Kmoney or do em yourself check out the DIY I wrote on baking your headlights, painting them, etc on my7thgen.org

your interior lighting is a lot of work, thats a ton of custom soldering since most of those are LEDs on circuit boards. nobody on this board does that work yet for others because it's super time consuming

congrats on the new whip!

How about a tablet that completely replaces the screen and is integrated with the all necessary displays that are relevant to the screen...pick them brains

Yea, it really sucks having the amber screen. Not many options for those of us. Eventually I want to get rid of mine, but just no good solutions now. I really wanna do what the other guy did with mounting a screen w/a receiver where the lower radio was, but have yet to see a write up from him...
