how can i install halos in my 2002 nissan maxima se?

hi i have a 2002 nissan maxima, it has the stock xenon hids. i got the SPEC-DŽ - Black Halo Headlights (http://www.carid.com/2002-nissan-max...ts-314076.html). is there a way i can get these lights to work? i perfer to not modify it but if i have to then please tell me what i have to do. thanks

Keep your stock units. The output on those suck.

If you retro projectors in them, I don't see them being bad. He just means as they sit installed unmolested the light pattern is horrible. Even with HID bulbs in them you still won't see. When it comes to headlights, it's not the bulb that provides good light, it's how it's projected onto the road.

Yup because the reflectors are designed for halogens.

You definitely could but you could also do that to your stock lights as well.

It would be better, and cheaper to open your headlights, black house them, and add some Umnitza Halo's to them. Same look but better output

thanks for the advice, one last question, is there any on the market that will fit and connect to factory HID and have good quality

We're trying to tell you that its not a good idea. All aftermarket crap will give you horrible light output. Your best bet is to just Blackhouse (or colormatch) your headlights to the car and do the umnitza halo's.

Yes they are. Its considered impersonating an emergency vehicle, and you can get ticketed for it.
