Getting a Stuck Wheel Lock Out of a 21mm Socket?

Any of you got any brilliant ideas for getting a stuck wheel lock out of my 21mm socket? (I don't have a bench vice)

Incase you wondering how i got it stuck. I lost the wheel lock key and had to hammer a 21mm socket onto the wheel lock. Got it out easily but now the problem is getting the wheel lock out of my socket so i can re-use the socket..

already tried throwing it on the ground hard, tried hammer and chisel, tried hitting with a chisel on the ground, tried putting it between 2 bricks and hammer it broke the brick, tried pb blaster, nothing worked

Buy a new socket? Probably less hassle than trying to get that out. Or, try putting the lug back on the car and tightening it and see if the socket loosens It's grip by being forced the opposite direction, then try another way of getting the lug off if that method works.

screwdriver from the box hold the socket in your hand bang the handle on the ground. or, insert a 6" extension and hit the lug on something. or, with same extension thread it onto bolt is was removed from wiggle it roughly til it comes off. These are just ideas that ive used in similar situations

lol i actually got something better than a screwdriver. I have the craftsman chisel set. I tried banging it on the floor with the chisel like a million times. Wouldnt budge. I banged it alot on different things. No luck

I also tried threading the whole piece back into the car and banging it up and down with the hammer. Didnt budge

^This, or set the protruding part of the lock in a larger socket or pipe. Then use a punch or 7/16 bolt and 3lb shop hammer.

Thanks for the help guys! I finally got it out!!

I had to put it back on the wheel stud with the wheel off the hub. Heat it up with a heat gun and banged the **** out of it with a hammer. What a !@#$%^. Well at least for future reference this is how i got it out. I repeated the process with the other 3 wheel locks so I know for sure it works just takes a good beating with the hammer after you bolt it back on. I then went to sears and got me a new 21mm socket under warranty. So all is good in the hood!

Next time you should probably use an impact socket
