Members Who Installed Block Off Plates

Hi Guys,

I just want some honest feedback from members who installed BOP's. Did you guys see any performance gains? Increase in MPG's? Loss of low end torque?

The reason I'm asking is becuase I just purchased a set. I'm contemplating if I should install them after reading NWP's test on BOP's.

you know it comes down to what you want to do... the general feedback that it does have some gains, well like when i added my roof wing i think my car responds faster and i feel like i can take a corner at faster speed...you know the fluff...but in reality little to no gains or even loses should be expected
But its really up to you!

I installed them and I think I may have gained a little in the top end but its nothing that you are going to notice right away, my MPG did increase a little though. But my car still seems to pour gas out on the highway because I stay needing gas!

You will lose low end. No matter what gen you install the bop in.

I had it on my car, but took it off because of loss of low end. Performance increase for less than $20? You go figure. When people spend $500 and above and still cannot get any major performance increase.

You can install it and when you decide to keep or take it off, it is easy to go back to stock vias.

THIS is the absolute best perf mod on the forum. You won't get HP, better audio, cold air, etc.

But you'll damn sure get there quicker!

Great point, however the horrible country back roads I have to take ruin everything... I was driving my wife's Murano for the past 6 months though, so I'm definitely saving... but am always looking for more. May be time for a scooter
