FS: 3" ID BBMAF LRMAF for 5th and 5.5 Gen Maximas - $35 SHIPPED

I am selling my BRAND NEW 3" INSIDE DIAMETER Land Rover MAF because I ordered the wrong one. The stock 5th gen MAF is around 2.75" ID.

I wanted the 3.23" MAF but I accidentally ordered the 3" one (I'm making a custom intake manifold with a 3.5" elbow and throttle body).

This is still a very good upgrade for people running 3 inch intakes, and the 3" MAF has been shown to provide gains...even more gains than the 3.23" MAF in some cases.

I am asking $35 shipped.

Thanks.

In cases where the person has a 3" intake all the way. The 82mm MAF is more beneficial when you have a 3.5" intake.

I can vouch for the gains of a 3" MAF.

It's not to say that the 3.25 ID will not net more, but @ 35$, c'omon!

My best dyno was with a 3.0" intake. (ID)

Quick question, does this require a tune?

if this can work without a tune I'll take it. I have a 2k I30 dek car with true in fender CAI and a Y pipe setup. If I dont have a tuner of any type but if this will work essentially plug and play replacement I have paypal ready. If anyone knows please chime in. the car is my DD so I need reliability to me maintained. Also relatively obvious but have you made sure the MAF sensor is working? If this will work for the aforementioned application without issues I'll take it!
Thanks

Yes this will RUN without a tune. You WILL probably run lean at WOT because you're basically passing less air through the actual sensor element. And yes this comes with a brand new sensor installed, but remember that it is for a Land Rover, so you will have to swap your Maxima sensor over to the Land Rover tube.

I strongly advise at least a VAFC or something to add some fuel back in. The fuel trims should suffice for closed loop operation, but they will stray far into the positives prob.
