I looked at rockauto and partsgeek, but the MOOG ball joints they sell don't have the zerk fittings, at least that's what the photos show.

Are there MOOG ball joints for the 4th gen with Zerk?

Thanks.

Not that ive seen... I buy mine from Nappa and they typically show you all the products but may not carry them. I dont believe they have the zerk fittings on them...

So it's basically MOOG sway bar end links and MOOg tie rod end links with zerk?

I saw MOOG lower ball joints with zerk on amazon but those are for chevy and co. I thought they might have 'em for the 4th.

drill em, tap em, and install your own zerks.

Ok. So that will work? I'll be able to service them without damaging them?

Idk, but I would try. Not in the body, but in the pressed in plug looking part on the back side.

i looked around for em but couldn't find with zerk for our max's. i'd be concerned about introducing metal slivers by drilling & tapping in a zerk.

The moog's I installed on my car and ordered from Rockauto has them. Dont go by the picture, due to the fact that the picture might not be of the actual product. Order from them, if not what your looking for, send them back.

Are you sure you picked up Moogs? Moog's website doesn't mention or show a ZERK fitting... Can you check your order history and pull the part number for them?

Do the moog parts have some kind of identifying stamp on them? Id be concerned that im actually getting a real moog part rather than some off brand part in a moog box.

Yes, the part number on the Rockauto web site is K9818. Matter of fact, if you read the description, it states that they come with grease fittings (Zerk)

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=227575

The picture doesn't show it, but the fitting goes on at the botton of the ball joint. The ball joint has to be pressed on the control arm first, then the fitting screwed in.
