HEATED: Anybody ever had thier front corner lenses stolen??

So last night I get home from work at aroung 1:30 AM, park my car in a stall in front of my townhome (not directly, but close), and when I woke up to take my dog out at about 10:30 I looked at my car and my clear turn signal lights were stolen!

Funny thing is, they unscrewed it all gently and took my bulbs as well.

I can't be to mad cause at least they didn't damage the bumper while they were at it. I have an alarm, will be turning up the sensor today, and I just bought 3 security cameras for the area I park in.

Has anybody ever experienced this?

bumper lights? or headlight corner lenses?

If you meant the actual corner lights, I dont see how they got those out without popping the hood

Most likely the bumper lights. I don't see how the headlight corners would get stolen without opening the hood.

Sorry for late reply guys, yeah they were the bumper lights. The clear ones you get on Ebay.

Very easy to get off actually, probably took less than 2 minutes. And I have an alarm which they didnt trip either. Siht pisses me off to no end.

I went to a state park one year with the church when I had my tan 95, and when I came back to the car after my day of enjoyment, I found both bumper lights hanging. I had a prestige remote start alarm hooked up with senseativity turned up and air horns, and nothing triggered it. I also know I was in range of it because I tested it by sounding the alarm and starting it from where we were set up and my pops was in the lot and said it worked.. Smh at least they left them though lmao

Yeah thats crazy. Airhorns eh? lol

I just bought a motion sensor alarm to put on the front, and am gonna use some steel wire and mount the lights up from the inside so they wont be so easy to come out unless the thieves have jack stands or something. lol

This issue has come up before with previous members (some have had it happen multiple times). You can remove the ball head screw on the bumper lights and replace it with a regular screw but you'll have to mount and unmount the lights from underneath the car from now on. Of course now you risk having the perp damage the bumper (or steal the car altogether). Personally if some jackass was willing to steal something I'm going to make it difficult for them.
