H U D for your max?

I have a 6.5 gen, and im a tall guy. I always have a problem seeing the needle and my mph, because of the steering wheel location. Now i know that the 370 has the gauges attached to the steering wheel some how so they move when you move the wheel, acheiving an unobstructed veiw. This swap is pretty out of the question. But i was wondering if anyone has installed any sort of H U D (heads up display) to solve the problem.

hmmmmmm..... makes me think....... Wouldn't be too hard to do. I think i may look into it. all i want is a visual display for mph and signals, becaused they too are obstructed. but i dont want it too visible, and clean....

This is what my buddy did to his S13. It might be possible with modification of course:

Here's the easy (lame) way to do it. The way these things work is that they plug into your OBD2 port and that's how it gets its readings.

If you want to do it the real way, it's going to be much more expensive. Personally the only experience I've had with heads up displays are the factory 240sx ones, and then a Defi unit I had in my old S13. The Defi unit worked very well and was much nicer than the pos ^ ebay unit appears to be.
