What speakers are these? They look a bit dated, not that it's a bad thing.

Yeah, I made some rings out of 1/2" birch. Any thicker and I would have issues putting the door panel back on.

With three in the front door and two in the back, that's gotta be loud. Are you building a system to compete in dB drags or other types of audio competition?

10-8" plus 6" in the kick panels is VERY LOUD even b4 u open the doors and let it out..When I get done I'll start entering the sound offs and other competitions.. I wanna get everything done b4 I get started cause its loud & clear but its only 1/2 way done on the inside.. plus I want the interior to match the exterior when I get the $ to get it painted all @ once so I wont have to keep goin back..

You've gotta wonder why cars don't come this way from the factory. Multiple tweeters and 8" speakers in each door is so practical and necessary. It's really too bad that people are forced to do this themselves when it should come standard.

Nice work inserting the speakers, but if u wanna go Lloyd why not use electro voice speakers (ev's) or beyma know ur setup with those speakers u can't even stay in the car at blast.that's Wat they use up here in ny,I have beymas 6.5 all around 350 watts,so the bigger the speaker the more watts they have.
