I have a y34 vq30det neo engine. This has the AFM : 22680 ad200... Apparently this is common to 5th gen maxima to.

I was wondering if anyone has reached the tuning limits of this AFM before and what HP/Airflow this was reached?

Im still putting the car together, but before it runs it will need a tune for the larger injectors etc.

So im wondering if there was any info on the tunability limits of these afms, or if i should go do what everyone else does and get a z32 afm. Im not planning bulk HP, using stock turbo wond up a bit im only hoping for around 300rwHp@1bar boost.

Sorry mate, its a Vq30det, from a y34 Nissan cima. Its the Vq30 engine with a single turbo.

Shares lots of common components with the maxima and 35 skyline vq engine series.

mainly the AFM.

 

And there fwd wonder if that set up can be used on a 02-03 ... pmed

 

I think they're rwd otherwise everyone would be doing the swap.

cheers, not allot of people have posted up what afm they are using. Mainly going into detail with the SC/Turbo or exhaust system they are using.

would be good if somone with a inducted maxima and stock afm could post and show poer levels and max afm voltage they have hit.
