Does a 95 Nissan Maxima GLE Pass 100mph?

Im new to this site. and Just joined the Maxima family brought me a 95 Maxima GLE and the car runs great you cant even feel or hear the car on. I put it on a test by driving to orlando from miami (4 hour drive) and was wondering if these type of maximas pass 100 mph's. car took is quick to get to 80mph but to get to the 100 point it takes a loooong time. so i figured it didnt pass that point till i gave it one more try and when it was at a 100 i felt the transmission as if it changed a gear but couldnt keep it up cause traffic came up ... basically just want to know if it pass's the 100mph mark !

?, i thought that the gle's were NOT speed limited (nor the se's); just the gxe's have this limitation.

I've had my 97 GLE auto trans up to 128, no mods on it. The cars with automatics have a limiter, the manual trans don't.

Gle's don't have governor, just turn o/d off and it'll keep climbing.

You're gonna need a lot of room or a good hill helps get there faster. Keep the O/D off until you use up the gear then push the O/D button in and keep going.
