My I35 with iPad install

I bought this 2002 I35 with 170K last summer and just got a decent camera so I did a quick photo shoot. I thought I'd show off my iPad install as well.

Mods:
-iPad 3G GPS via USA-Spec
-NWP Spacers
-GAB Intake
-Garage door seal front lip

I would love to get an exhaust, lower it, and get larger wheels. Not soon though, I'd rather not waste the plenty of tread thats still on them.

nice touch with the infiniti wallpaper, gives it a custom look. What are you using the hold it in place? does it make a big difference when your running your a/c blocking the 2 vents?

I made a custom bracket out of a couple iphone vent mounts and an ipad case. Its on there pretty good and doesn't make noise or shake around when driving but the iPad is removable in case I park in a bad neighborhood.

As far as AC, it doesn't make that much difference. The AC in our cars is so strong and there is 2-3 inches because of the dash curvature for the air to go around it. One good thing about the iPad being directly in front of the vents is that it cools the iPad down quickly. On really hot days the iPad will be too hot to work and displays a temperature message. After about a minute with the AC blasting it is nice and cool again.

The best thing about the iPad (besides music and nav working perfect) is that the steering controls work. I also do not have a 3G data plan for it. The GPS works without one.

Nice work on the iPad install. I had everything to install my cm9 Touchpad in mine but I just opted to put in a DVD player instead.
