Gas cap not clicking when tighten?
Every car I've owned has clicked when tightening the fuel cap. It even keeps clicking and turning once tightened. The maxima tightens but no click. And when it's tight, it doesn't keep turning like my other cars. Is your car the same?
gas cap click
My 2012 acts just like your, it tightens but no clicks. I will ask the dealer about this next time I bring it in.
PS Per the Owner's manual if your gas cap is not secured the car will indicate a trouble alarm display. Since we are not getting the indication it means that even W/O the click the gas cap works.

My 2012 Maxima gas cap is just like the gas cap on my 2010 Lexus IS. When tighten it, it will make one faint click when it is fully tightened. It does not and is not suppose to work like how gas caps worked in the past.

Yeah, OK Ispaqna.
You said "they don't click anymore" and then the second sentence after that you say to "just turn it until you feel it tighten and click".
Guess I still get confused by contradictory statements.
