Moisture in Turn Signal on side Mirror

Anybody notice this? Passenger side mirror has moisture in the LED turn signal. Driver side is dry, is this normal or should i take it in? Anybody else have this issue?

Had it in my passenger side mirror. Was like that for like a month and hated it. Too it to dealer and was replaced within an hour. Get it fixed before it becomes your problem.

I also had condensation in my passenger side mirror. My drivers side was dry. Dealer replaced my whole passenger side assembly last month. My service paper said that there was a defective seal on the mirror. I would take your car to the dealer.

I just got my max 2 weeks ago and I had it in the driver's side mirror. Did not notice it until we brought it home. The dealer gladly replaced the whole mirror, I'd get it done if still under warranty

Haha its definitely not normal. All of the exterior lighthing compartments must be sealed and should not have moisture in them. Id give them attitude esp if your car is under warranty or go to another dealer

Just got my 2012 a few weeks ago. I noticed some condensation in my passenger side mirror signal a week ago. I called the dealer, they said they would have to order a new one. Then I noticed some condensation in the drivers side the other day. Called the deal back and they ordered another mirror. I'm supposed to get both replaced first thing Monday Morning.

If the car is still under warranty I would have the mirrors replaced. The last thing that you want is moisture causing an electrical short inside the mirror

Called dealership and without the blink of an eye, he ordered a new mirror. I guess it's common.

Both of mine have this problem. I find it odd that after 4 production years, they're still making them with bad seals. Have all the 7th gens had these mirrors as an option?
The salesperson mentioned that most of them develop it and it's "normal". He told me to have it serviced if it bothered me.
I am going to live with it for now, maybe get them replaced in a year.

Just had the passenger side mirror in my 2012 for the same reason. Took the dealership about an hour to make the switch once the part came in. Moisture + wiring components = bad.

Moisture in Turn Signal on side Mirror

I have moisture in both sides, and the dealership told me that it's normal and that they wouldn't replace them.

I got my passenger turn signal replaced after I saw moisture. Then I saw some moisture in the drivers side, but after a week or so it went away. Give it some time. If it does not go away, go back to the dealer. Good luck.

So here is my story:

I got my car in August of 2012 and noticed there was condensation in the driver side mirror (turn signal); I went to the dealership and they replaced it under warranty. A few weeks ago, I called the dealership and told them I have the same problem in my passenger side mirror and they said they have 1 more part and I can go there and get it replaced. When I got there, they said the part they have is defective, they will order another one and will call me back in 1 week. When I got there, they took my car and put on a new passenger side mirror. When they got done, they realized the one they put on is also defective (is chipped) and told me they'd leave that on there, and will order another one and I have go to bck again in 1 week. I went today, they put on another mirror on the passenger side (my 3rd now) which looks fine. However, now I am noticing moisture in the driver's side mirror (which I have already gotten replaced once), I pointed it out to the sales advisor and he said he'd look into it. After coming back from dropping the car off in the garage, he said he spoke to someone (a technician or somebody) and said a little bit of condensation is normal (in the mirror turn signals as well as the tail lights - which I also have occasionally) and said unless it is a LOT and starts dripping, its normal and nothing to worry about.

Any feedback? sorry for the long essay

^ Got the same story when I got my car. For both the tail lights and the side marker lights.

There is a TSB floating around somewhere that addresses this.

I have seen the TSB, but did not see mirrors mentioned or was told that they are. I have had 4 tailights replaced, 2 each side, and one mirror. I cannot believe the mirror would be covered, as in my experience that condensation will NEVER leave. At least the condensation in the tails usually goes away after a few days.

I've seen the TSB, but not close enough to actually read it. The Nissan tech explained everything to me after having read it himself.

He said a little bit of moisture is natural for the tail lights as well as side markers.

The condensation in my side marker lights went away after the temperature equilibrated. The next morning it was gone. After running the car, then parking it, the moisture returned. The following morning it was gone again. This was back in November. I haven't noticed any moisture (in any of my lights) for a couple of months now. This is likely because it is very dry in the northeast right now.

I suspect that in a few more months the moisture may return. We shall see.

That is different then my side marker issue then. I had full condensation in one of them. It never went away, even after several weeks.
