I bought this car less than 6 months ago. the battery that came with the car corroded to the point the starter wouldnt crank the car over. I cleaned it and it corroded again. I got another terminal and put it on and thats corroded now. someone told me I needed to coat the new connection.

i have an airbag light from putting my g35 seats in and a check engine light. both seem to come on whenever the battery is corroded.

any ideas?

 

corrosion prevents the electricity from flowing, so you want to prevent it. Clean the battery connections (both pos & neg) with a baking soda solution and then go and get some battery terminal grease and coat the terminals.
