Best Chrome Grill Cleaner???

Hey guys, just wanted some input on my situation. I just bought a used grill for my 7th gen and it has a lot of bugs, salt residue, and water marks on it. What woud you suggest would be best to clean it with? I have tried mothers chrome cleaner and wasnt impressed at all

Have you tried just washing it with luck warm water, soap and clay bar then using car wax or polish to shine and clean it up? I had chrome cleaners in the past and I was never satisfied with them. They never worked for me. Better yet plasti-dip it or give it a paint scheme so you don't have to worry about it anymore. Let others chime in tho.
