Past few afternoons when ive gone to start the car after it has sat all night, it just spins and spins but wont catch. I turn the key off n on a few times to try n prime the pump a few times, tank is half full of gas, plugs r ngk coppers w 5000k on em. So i let the car roll n pop start it. It runs fine, drives fine, even starts fine once i get to work.....soooo im kinda lookin for places to start looking for issues. Ive cleanes cam sensor, and both crank sensors too as well as battery terminals.....any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

 

So even if you crank and give it gas it does not catch? I would inspect FPR in this event. Seems like a fuel pressure issue.

 

As we move to the cooler weather, ECTS problems tend to show up.

 

Ignition switch could be the issue. I'm getting ready to replace mine for this same exact reason.

 

I cant say ive tried mashin the gas but i went out to try n lo n behold it started first try.....

Ill replace ects for the fun of it n cuz its pretty cheap

N would the ignition cause it to turn over but not catch?
