I think this would be an excellent way to work on the underside of the Maxima

a few hundred bucks more and you can get a 4 arm hoist. it would be a bear having to drain your fluids and having anything loose in the trunk fly to the side always

Maybe it can turn all the way and then you can just sit on the cross member as you replace the leaky transmission hoses

uh no thanks.

The best is you can buy a lift to put in your garage if your ceilings are high enough. Not that expensive...depending on your hobby budget.
