dome light LED not working

I bought these LED's: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-W9-WHITE...6167bb&vxp=mtr

and I took out the bulb and inserted the LED with the connector into the light above the shifter. (I switched out the other main light in the middle and that worked fine) Note that all LEDs usually don't come with the bulb type connector as seen in the ebay photo. Its the second LED connecting adapter in the photo (scroll down and you'll see it). So I took out my original bulb put the LED in and it didn't work. Tried to flip the connecting wires but it only fits one way. Tried my bulb and it worked fine. Tried the LED with a different connector (because you get 2 of each connector) and it still didn't work. The LED connector and original bulb have the same female adapter and they look exactly the same. Anyone know what the issue is here? Its definitely not my fuse because when I tried the original bulb it worked.

Polarity or a dead LED. Switch positive and negative, if that doesn't work = dead LED.

That little thing, for your dome light? You really don't want to be able to see inside your car, do you?

See my sig

But you need to pry the white keyed connector part off in order to be able to reverse the polarity of the LEDs...or just take the entire thing out, turn it 180* and try it again. That's the easiest way (taking the whole thing out, turning, and trying again)
