ABS kicking in under normal conditions.

Hey guys, about 2 weeks ago I had the abs light come up under normal braking conditions. This is my first car so I don't know what ABS is supposed to feel like but, the pedal was pulsating and there was a loud grinding which was unbearable.

Since then, I have replaced the pads/rotors,filled up the brake fluid and I have lowered my car on Illuminas & Eibachs. I also pressure washed the wheels in attempt to clean dirt debris from around the sensors.

Basically the ABS will kick under under pretty normal conditions and the light will come on/stay on. I know how to check the ABS light but how do you "ground the terminal"?

Edit: I did notice the rear passenger tire was a little low on air that night that the problems began. I've filled that up with air and it seems to be holding air fine. Just figured I might throw this in here.

Run a jumper to any metal under the dash. The abs will spit out the code. It's most likely a failing wheel speed sensor.

bro honestly what does that even mean. Like if i put jumper cables under the dash I'll get the code. I thought there was a terminal in the fuse box ?

Also I have the codes p0500 which is the VSS(would this cause the ABS to kick in) and also I have p0325 which is the knock sensor. Im replacing that this weekend.

Are your rims bigger than original? When I had my previous maxima with ABS, in the summer with 17" rims the ABS would kick in much sooner than when I had 15" rims in winter.

If I recall, it's a terminal on the OBDII connection. Search on here for ABS codes and you'll find the thread the explains how to do it.

EDIT: Found it.

Briefly ground pin #4 on the OBDII port and the ABS light will flash the code(s)
