i havent Got on it all the way in first gear in a while now but today i punched it at 25mph and it picked up HELLA fast and jumped off the rev limited twice before it hit 2nd gear..no i had plenty traction and i stayed in it when it did all this I just never seen it do this.


only thing i can think maybe the problem is i put a new TPS sensor in it 2 weeks ago cause i broke my on accident and i didn't set it i just put it on and tightened it down..

or tranny issue?


99 auto with 260k.

 

you have to set the tps. Im messing with mine as of now because of hesitation issues, and now I think i have it just about right. I dont know how to set it with the ohm meter I got from harbor freight. The tps also has somthing to do with when the transmission shifts, so u might need to adjust it.
