title says it all, have shaking at speeds 58+mph, the last owner seemed to have hit every curb they could find judging by the wheels..thinking maybe warped wheels? checked the wheels for shaking by moving back and forth and side to side, but got nothing. Safe to say just spend a few hundred on new wheels or could it be something else?

 

That could be almost anything suspension related. I spent a bunch of money trying to solve that exact same issue in an old Toyota I had. Ended up being a broken belt in two of my tires. Once I replaced the tires the problem was solved. But if the owner liked to curb check stuff that bad you really should have the thing checked out. Take it for an alignment first. If they can't get it aligned they will at least be able to tell you what's broke. Wheel balance probably wouldn't hurt.
