1997 Maxima - Yellow/Clouded Headlamp Assembly Replacements?

I have a '97 Maxima SE and the headlamps have yellowed and clouded so much that I don't really get much light out of them anymore. The fog lamps below the bumper are made of glass so they still look fine.

The car is so old and worth so little money that I don't want to spend big cash on two (2) OEM headlamp assemblies. I'm wondering if anyone out there has replaced theirs with an aftermarket product that is a few steps up from the $35.00 made in China headlamp assemblies found on eBay.

The cheap Chinese Made assemblies are easy to find for this car, but I wanted to throw the question out there if anyone recommends a decent brand for the assembly. In fact I assume everything is made in China these days, but there are definitely higher quality products and ones of much lesser quality too.

Thanks for your input.

You can also buy some sandpaper, 800, 1000 & 2000...Use them WET starting with the 800 (Vertical movement), then work with the 1000 (Horizontal movement) & finally with the 2000 (Vertical movement). U
After that, apply car polish as you would on your car body, then use some wax to protect the finish. Voila!

Wet sand with 2000 grit then wipe clean. Buff with rubbing compound and wipe clean (use varying degrees if you can). Then wax the hell out of it.

Unless you wanna go the clear coat route which lasts longer
